New online consultation system

Enter the Digital Front Door

We are pleased to announce that we have moved to a new online consultation system called Digital Front Door from 4th September 2025.

This will replace the current system known as Patient Triage (you may also know it as Accurx).

To use this new system, you will need to know your NHS number, as this needs to be entered as well as your date of birth. The NHS website has a tool that will tell you what your NHS number is, if you don’t already know it. Please make sure to note this number down. 

The Digital Front Door is run by the company Blinx. This means you will receive email communications from no-reply@blinxhealth.com, and SMS (text message) communications from “NHS-NoReply”. Please be aware that this is not a scam and is the practice trying to contact you.
